Do you have to do the development and support? - not necessarily. So I think yes, you should put forward resources to have something available. the hard and probably the most important is support. With our driver development, we try and develop Drivers that work in CH, SIMPL and S#Pro, and honestly that's the easy part. Especially as you get into real custom spaces. With regards to CH vs SIMPL, I think it took 40-50% of those projects, and there is still a fair amount of SIMPL going on in the residential space. So the segment wasn't 100% SIMPL and CH took 50% away, they added market share and took some away from SIMPL. Since this system is configuration and is "no programmer required" it opens up a budget segment that was previously unobtainable because of programming costs. It is a configurable solution and has a fair amount boundaries, but it works quite well when you stay in those boundaries. In general, yes Crestron's residential focus has been Crestron Home.
